Civil architecture
Like many of the palace-houses of Cáceres, it compiles elements of different architectural styles, emphasizing, among them, those corresponding to the Renaissance. Its wide inner cloister, with a portico, gargoyles, and crests, the work of Pedro Marquina, is a good example of harmonic proportions.
The large masonry façade has a semi-circular portal with dressed voussoirs, following the Renaissance style, and the top is adorned with the Perero family coat of arms.
It is currently the Francisco de Sande university residence, belonging to the Provincial Delegation of Cáceres.
Recommendations: If you find the main door open, it is worth visiting the cloister.
