In the route of this stage you can visit the remains of the old Castra Servilla located in the current walled enclosure and surroundings. Elements of great value such as the Baluarte de los Pozos and San Roque cistern, the Mayoralgo Palace where remains of the old colony have recently been found, among which are hot springs, a cistern and a part of the ancient Roman forum. The Arco del Cristo or door of the River or of the Council, the only original Roman door that is preserved of the four that existed, the Tower of Bujaco, symbol of the city of Cáceres, the Tower of Grass, of the Aver all of them have a base of Roman origin. The Church of Santiago, where its Gothic façades and its only nave covered with ribbed vaults stand out, in the eastern door there are references to the Camino de Santiago (pilgrim on the door and shells on its pillars), the Ronda de San Francisco where it passes through underneath the old "Roman road" of the Vía de la Plata and that remains of its old route have recently come to light. Already on the outskirts of the city, the Roman Camp of Cáceres el Viejo and its interpretation center stand out.
