
Civil architecture
It was located in the current Plaza del Socorro, and was one of the four main gates of the city built by the Romans in the 1st century AD. so it must have been very similar to the Puerta del Río or Arco del Cristo, which is still preserved.
The name of the door is due to the fact that the road to the city of Coria started from it.
It was demolished at the end of the 19th century.
