Military architecture
It is an albarrana tower built by the Almohads in the 12th century, it is located in the area of Calle de Caleros from which it takes its name.
It was part of the defensive system of the city carried out by the Almohads, reinforcing the original Roman wall.
The tower is currently not accessible as it is surrounded by buildings built later.
