It is an Almohad tower built in the s. XII that owes its name to being of this type, the most numerous among those built in Cáceres, that is, it is connected to the wall by a wall canvas, moving forward to facilitate defense.
It is located in one of the most picturesque corners of the Monumental City, at the entrance to the Olivar de la Judería, a very pleasant garden to rest and admire the panoramic view from the ascent to the Sanctuary of the Virgen de la Montaña, Patron Saint of Cáceres.
