It is located in the heart of the Monumental City of Cáceres, in a magnificent 15th century Gothic house.
The "Zamora Vicente" Library is, above all, a rich working tool. Due to his years of professionalism, the philological school to which he belongs ("the last step of Menéndez Pidal's work", as he himself says), the time of his university life, and his long stays in foreign universities, both in Europe and America, his tireless gathering of books has led to a copious repertoire (in many cases a total repertoire) of the publications in his speciality, both in linguistic and literary matters.
A library formed over more than half a century, containing 36,298 computerized bibliographic records, of which 1,103 are periodicals. A splendid collection that qualifies its owner as a great bibliophile and a person of great intellectual training.
The collection includes everything from manuals and text collections from the 1930s to those of today's international literature. It can be said that all Spanish literature is included in it. It contains the wide range of works that are available today, with a notable representation of the school of Menéndez Pidal (Américo Castro, Tomás Navarro, Dámaso Alonso, José Montesinos, etc.)
