The Sierra de la Mosca, or "La Montaña", is situated in the southeast and is the highest area of the Llanos de Cáceres.
Start this route in the Charca del Marco to go up to the Sierra de la Mosca where you can see some of the mining exploitations of the city like the quarry of Portanchito or the mine of Valdeflores. The landscape is dominated by cork and holm oak pastures that provide shelter to a richbiodiversity.
