The sculptures of contemporary artists expressing figurative and abstract trends.
Opened in 1997, it is a collection of 27 sculptures that brings together two generations of contemporary artists who express themselves in figurative and abstract trends.
It is an alternative to the traditional concept of a museum and a commitment to modernising the city's artistic heritage. It is an initiative promoted by the sculptor Pepe Noja, who also generated other similar precedents in Aracena, Huelva and Alcalá de Henares. It includes works by established firms such as Luis Caruncho, Teresa Eguíbar, Lorenzo Frechilla, Amadeo Gabino, Feliciano Hernández, José Luis Sánchez and Aurelio Teno. It is located in the Parque del Príncipe, a green area with a central pond that serves as the axis for the location of the works.
