This late fourteenth-century building is a beautiful example of Mudéjar art in Cáceres
This late fourteenth-century building is a beautiful example of Mudéjar art in Cáceres and the only one with a façade of this style within the Historic Centre.
The use of red zig-zag and sawtooth brick decorations are some of the most outstanding characteristics of this artistic style.
The façade consists of two parts: the lower masonry and the upper brickwork, highlighting a mullioned window with pointed horseshoe arches.
Recommendations: Cristóbal Enríquez was born in this house, who formed part of the expedition of the first Europeans to discover the Amazon River in 1542.
