Located in front of the Ribera del Marco, very close to the Arch of Christ and the El Río Portal, it is an Almohad tower with a square floor plan dating back to the twelfth century.
It was initially made in adobe, although it was later reinforced with masonry.
As its name indicates, it is located next to one of the main entrance gates to the Historic Centre.
Recommendations: Through the Arch of Christ, you can access the Old Jewish Quarter of Cáceres, one of the most beautiful and picturesque areas of the historic city.
