It is a modernist building from 1927, built by the municipal architect, Ángel Pérez. It is located at Nº 2 Comandante Sánchez Herrero st. on the corner of San Antón st.
Its iron and glass lookout points are its hallmark, with great views of the Paseo de Cánovas.
It is a beautiful building with an elegant tower made of tiles that was demolished in 1984, despite strong popular opposition, and which was later rebuilt.
Its name comes from the popular bullfighter, Manuel Jiménez Moreno “Chicuelo,” who had an affair with the daughter of the construction's promoters.
Recommendations: It is very close to the Grand Theatre, which has a variety of shows throughout the year
