This house has a magnificent Renaissance façade from the sixteenth century. The voussoirs around the arch of the door are easily appreciated. Above the door are the crests of the Portocarrero and Golfín families.
This house was inhabited by the Duchess of Valencia until the 1960s.
It currently belongs to the Provincial Council of Cáceres, after a thorough reform involving the installation of some technical services inside.
