ZEPA (SPECIAL PROTECTION AREA FOR BIRDS) located in the Monumental City of Cáceres.
In this place you can see species such as the Lesser Kestrel and the White Stork. The limits of the ZEPA coincide with the walls of the old city, representing the largest urban breeding centre for the Lesser Kestrel in the world, with almost three hundred pairs of this species nesting there. In addition, at least 14 different species of birds nest there, making it a unique place to enjoy the visualization of Cacereña's birdife.
