Tin was benefited from cassiterite, which is accompanied by other minerals such as quartz, ambigonite, apatite, ortose, arsemopyrite and tantalite. The primary deposit is made up of numerous thin seams, associated with a granite outcrop, exploited since ancient times. However, during the last years the sands from the erosion of the seams, which had a high content of tin and were easily extracted, were washed. Its exploitation ceased in 1986.
