Natural areas
Located on the plains between Cáceres, Sierra de Fuentes and Trujillo.
The habitat is represented by a wide sub-steppe peneplain, with outstanding formations of holm oaks, cork oaks and brooms. With regard to its biodiversity, this SPA is known worldwide for its steppe birds, such as the bustar and sandgrouses.
