It is an Arabic tower with a square floor plan dating from the twelfth century. We can see Roman ashlars at its base, although the main material used in its construction is adobe.
It forms part of the defensive system of the western wall of the Cáceres Historic Centre.
Recommendations: It is located in near the Plaza de San Juan, an ideal place to take a break during your visit.
