Birdwatching
The House Martin is similar to its near relative, the Swallow, but it is smaller with white underparts and a conspicuous white rump.
It builds its mud nests under the eaves of any type of building, occasionally causing a nuisance with its droppings. It more than makes up for this, however, by keeping down the number of flying insects in a natural and efficient way.
