Archaeological patrimony
It belongs to the Cáceres limestone quarry, as do the Maltravieso and El Conejar caves.
Located 12 km from the city of Cáceres, Spain. Inside the military camp CEFOT-1.
The importance of the discovery is due to the fact that it is one of the few caves in Spain occupied during the Lower Palaeolithic, in which paintings have also been found that can be attributed to the Neolithic period and which are related to those found in Los Barruecos and Malpartida de Cáceres.
