Located at one end of the Plaza de Santa María, next to the Mayoralgo
Located at one end of the Plaza de Santa María, next to the Mayoralgo Palace, it is a fifteenth-century house acquired by the Provincial Council of Cáceres. It was thoroughly rehabilitated and currently functions as a Provincial Craft Centre.
Here the promotion, dissemination, marketing, and management of the craft sector is carried out, and it offers the visitor a wide range of sample representative of Extremaduran crafts (pottery, basketry, copper, cork, wrought iron, wood, textiles, goldsmithing, etc.), or the products that are produced in the region.
Its rehabilitation is a good example of the transformation of an historic building into an exhibition space.
Recommendations: It is worth the visit to learn about crafts, and if you want to buy a souvenir.
