It is a low, Medieval tower built during the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries, which, at the time, was connected to a palace that has now disappeared.
It has a square floor plan and an excellent gatehouse on the corner, facing the Coria Portal. On its walls, there are several windows, with a mullioned window standing out among them.
On this tower, you can clearly see the truncation suffered by Queen Isabella the Catholic's order.
RECOMMENDATIONS: On the façade facing Calle Tiendas, we can see the Espadero crest--two crossed swords with the tips pointing downward.
